You can reset your password with the OS disc. Reboot using the disc and choose Reset Password from the menu bar.

There are two options you have. You can either acquire an OS (Operating System) disc to reformat the drive and reinstall the OS or you can return it to first user using the Single User boot mode.
The first option is easiest and erases their data so you don't have to worry about it being there.
The second option requires knowing some basic terminal commands.Final note: Have you tried just pressing enter on the login screen? Many times people don't have passwords but it will still ask for them.

This looks like you are using a Microsoft Windows Server computer or operating system. The "SAM" file is your password registry file for all the users within your domain controller (also why it asks you for your Active Directory users file). If you are expecting this to be something on your Mac, you may want to double check what you are trying to do. You might be installing Windows Server over your Mac operating system, or you may be installing a Server edition (instead of a personal edition) into a virtual machine.

How i reset apple macbook air 4 digit pin code

Hello:
1) What model and what year is your Macbook Pro?

2) What country are you in?

3) Is your Macbook still under warranty? That is, can you call Apple or send it to Apple for repair if you have to? Because on some Macbook Pros, only Apple can reset the EFI PIN

System lock pin code mac air

Someone has done a remote lock on your laptop. Probably the previous owner, a family member, or someone with access to your laptop and Applie ID account info. Ask them for the PIN code (the person in the know), call Apple and talk to the genius bar, or get your money back.

The other and more sad reason that this happened is because the laptop was stolen and the person that it was stolen from has locked it. BTW, Macbook Airs also have GPS inside so the owner can trace where it is and since they remotely locked it I would assume that they are looking for it. Hopefully this is not your case, but if it is....
