E30 flashing when I try to start wash program on Hotpoint Aquariu

Hotpoint aquarius wash system plus intelligent care (washer dryer).
Unable to locate manual online.

Machine starts to fill for a couple of seconds then E30 starts flashing again and "refer to manual".

E30 indicates a motor problem, you will need to call an engineer.

Ultima 1200 washer dryer. what does E30 mean
Hi .
E30 is a problem relating to the motor, check brushes, if o/k then could be faulty or broken tacho magnet on end of motor shaft, also check for broken wires in motor plug.

Error E30 is a motor drive problem. Would check motor brushes as most likely fault.

Hotpoint supersilent washing machine
Try pushing the "on" & "start" buttons together for 5 secs or more. If it does not clear from the display, switch of the machine for 5 mins and try again.
