I have 2 VCR's 1 Magnavox and 1 RCA. The magnavox is new and so is thisproblem as it didn't occur with the old VCR 1 which was a Sharp. If Itape a show on VCR 1 and play back on same VCR it is fine; and the samegoes for VCR 2 if I tape and view it on VCR 2 it is fine. Only when Itry to tape on VCR 2 and play it on VCR 1 the sound and picture don'tmatch. It is as if the show is the one meant to be taped and the soundis what was on the tape before. But a I say if I pop it into the one itwas taped on it is fine. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance for your help!!
N.B. I apologize if advance if this is a double post but I am uncertain if it went the first time...thank you!

Do you have a newer TV or a older one lets start with a newer models does your tv have 3 or more jacks on the back or front you should see a RED, YELLOW and WHITE if you have a HDTV you should see more. (LETS HOOK UP) Did your DVD/VCR come with a cables if not you will need to buy at least 2 they are called RCA cables Lets start with the dvd/vcr combo on the back you should see a (LINE OUT) this is where playback or your picture and sound come out. On the back of the TV you should see a (LINE IN) this is where you plug it in to. RED goes to RED, WHITE goes to WHITE and YELLOW goes to YELLOW. To Record you will need to hook up the line in on your combo and the line out to your tv. ( IF YOU HAVE AN OLDER T.V WITH NONE OF THOSE JACKS ) you will need to buy a RF- MODULATOR the are cheap it is a box that let you hook a cable wire to a little box and the RCA jacks to you combo and you will turn your tv to channel 3 or 4
using the magnovox remote, reprogram the vcr's channels. set it up to use cable not air. when the vcr was unlugged it lost it's channel memory. don't buy new cables, you're getting a picture and sound so that means your rca cables are ok.
Is simply. get the audio/vido cables and look on the back of the TV and connect from the audio video outputs from the combo to the audio video inputs on the tv. remember the colors of the terminals and connect them that matches the red, white (audio) and the yellow (video). Using the remote locate the button "input" or "source", and select video 1 or 2, depending where you connected it.
What you will need is an RF modulator. They are relatively inexpensive and can be found at local electronic stores.
