sounds like a safety switch problem .if you remove the the key switch and look at the back of the switch you will see letters the ither the backing or on the prongs the the plug gose on your looking for the one that has the letter M normaly there are two wires going to it and they alot of times are yellow one of them controlls all the motor kill safety one of them turns the motor off .follow them figure out what one connects to the motor .then clip the other one with a pair of cutters .start your mower then turn it back off if it dose not shut off you cliped the wrong wire .if so conect them back together and clip thr other .buy clipping the correct wire this will eliminate all motor kill safetys

SOURCE: I replaced my mower deck belt on my Husqvarna

There is a small brace that stops the clutch from spinning and ripping out the wires, i think you may have forgotten to put it back

SOURCE: Husqvarna zero turn mower won't start

Usually if all you hear is a clicking noise, it is the solenoid itself that has gone bad...if you can jump the solenoid and the mower turns over, it is the solenoid.

SOURCE: My husqvarna zero turn mower has an auto safety

There should be a switch under the seat. The system is designed to stop all functions if no one is setting in the seat. I believe the seat switch has failed.
Check it out and let me know.

My z5426 has allways left grass behind,i have to cut my lawn twice

Are your blades sharp? Are they lined up so they do not leave grass in between them as they spin?
Is your cutting deck level or is one side higher than the other.
These are all things that could cause long grass to remain.
Some times a bent blade will do this also.
I even had a lawn mower come in and the blades were installed up side down. He wondered why it would not cut right.

Zero turn mower is sputtering and dies

Check everything is clean. Check the air filter is clean, check that the engine cooling fan, cutting blades and cutting deck are free of grass. Check all the drive belt pulleys to ensure accumulated grass is not jamming anything. Check the fuel filler cap is clean and the breather hole works.

Why is my husqvarna zero turn leaving a strip of uncut grass on the left side of the deck

I have a 2014 HUSQVARNA RZ5424 that I just changed the blades on for the first time now 2017. I got new gator blades because of all the good reviews on them. They are about as good as a screen door on a submarine at 300 feet deep. There the same length as the original blades but leaves two rows of uncut grass about a inch wide regardless of how you try to cut it. Only 240 hours on mower, deck clean ,spindles kept greased . Went back to new Husquvarna blades like the ones made for it. PROBLEM SOLVED. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY. REL.

When I engage the blades on my ez4824 the blades intermittently stop cutting particularly in higher grass. Do you think this is a loose belt problem? Thanks.

That is the most likely cause of the problem - taller and thicker grass the blades encounter more resitance and the drive belt slips and it doesn't cut. This would likely cause a juddering of the machine when it occurs.

Hope this helps.

The engine run rough and backfires when deck is lowered with pto

It sounds like your blades may be restricted when you lower them. A possible solution for this problem would be to remove the mower deck and clean out all the dead grass buildup inside the housing.
