    I have the same problem with chicks and wolves and I am a fully grown person who thought I was the only one having problems with this puzzle. Help!!! Can't get the wolves and chicks across the river at the same time without one of the chicks getting eaten!

    I have the same problem with the wolves and chicks, I understand the solution listed, but the minute the raft hits the other side - all the animals get off - so the chicks get eatened..How do I keep an animal on the raft? because the minute the wolf gets over there the chick gets eaten...

First step: Move 1 wolf and 1 chick
Second step: Bring 1 chick back
Third step: Move 2 wolves
Fourth step: Bring 1 wolf back
Fifth Step: Move 2 chicks
Sixth Step: Bring 1 chick and 1 wolf back
Seventh Step: Move 2 chicks
Eighth Step: Bring 1 wolf back
Ninth Step: Move 2 wolves
Tenth Step: Bring 1 wolf back
Eleventh Step: Bring 2 wolves over Take the 3 wolves first kick them until they run away go back and take the chicks across (That is if the wolves havent killed you)

This age old puzzle has several solutions, but this is the one with the fewest moves.
1.) Move 2 wolves to the other side.
2.) Take 1 wolf back.
3.) Move 2 wolves to the other side.
4.) Take 1 wolf back.
5.) Move 2 chicks to the other side.
6.) Take 1 wolf and 1 chick back.
7.) Move 2 chicks to the other side
8.) Take 1 wolf back.
9.) Move 2 wolves to the other side.
10.) Take 1 wolf back.

Ok send the 2 wolves over then takeone back send another 2 wolves then 1 back 2 chicks over then 1 chick and 1 wolf then 2 chicks then 1 wolf back 2 wolfes over 1 wolf back then 2 wolfs over and finished

How do i get past wolves and chicks
If you are refering to:
Professor Layton and the Curious Village

Try this:
Taker 1 wolf and 1 chick over. Return with 1 chick. Take 2 wolves over and bring 1 wolf back. Take 2 chicks over a wolf and chick back. Take 2 chicks over and 1 wolf back. You now have 3 chicks on right side and 3 wolvs on keft. Now bring 2 wolves over take 1 wolf back, then bring the 2 wolves over.

Puzzle No. 007 : Wolves and Chicks
Picarats : 50
Hint : Get the three wolves and three chicks seen below to the other side
of the river while obeying the following conditions.
-No more than two animals can ride the raft at the same time.
-There must be at least one animal on the raft in order for it to
move.
-If more wolves than chicks stay on either side of the river, the
wolves will eat the chicks, and you'll have to start over.
You can move the raft as many times as you like, but this feat can
be accomplished in as few as 11 moves.
Solution : Another classic puzzle:
1) Move 2 wolves to the other side.
2) Take 1 wolf back.
3) Move 2 wolves to the other side.
4) Take 1 wolf back.
5) Move 2 chicks to the other side.
