My Stiga Estate has 170 hours on the clock and is 10 months old, The mower is great but in the last couple of weeks when I have been using the machine for about 2 hours the deck will not engage every time, some times I just leave it for10 minutes and it works, some times it taked up to an hour, It is hard for an electrician or machanic to find the fault as it is only some times Has anyone else had problems the engaging the deck. Thanks. Perry

Try putting a jumper wire on the wire going from the engine to the seat. Take that plug and put a wire from one side to the other. Be careful not to cut your feet off when engaging deck.

Hello:
>>Check the Voltage from the Stator/Charging Coils.

This is for Briggs Engines and Works Well for Kohler and Other Engine OEMs.
>>A Bad Stator/Charging Coil will Cause the Problem you Described.

Tim, first turn key on engage and disengage blade button. See if you can hear the clutch making a clicking noise. If not check switch., if not your problem is in the clutch.
