Feather pillow exploded and now door is locked. what next?

I foolishly washed an old feather pillow and it naturally exploded feathers everywhere. I cleaned out all visible debris and hoped that the non-visible debris would push its way out with the next wash. Well with the next wash the machine got stuck and I can't even unlock the door. How do I unlock the door and then what can I do next?

Unplugging machine for a few minutes and then plugging back in may unlock it. Drain Pump is probably stopped up and needs clearing.

SOURCE: i washed a feather pillow and it busted, now it wont pump water out.

There is a filter down in the bottom front of the washer (below the drum) that is probably clogged with feathers. It is a pain to get to, but once you get it cleaned out, the washer should spin and drain without problems.

Duck Feather Pillow In Washer. Feathers everywhere. door will not unlock or drain water. help

Pull off the lower front panel and reach up on the right of the washer to the door lock assembly you will feel a tab hanging down pull it and the door will release. Clean out the drain filter and pump hoses etc. Rise it out and you may have to clean the filter a few times.
