I have a couple of computers and one of the 1U "cases" might be causing my motherboard to ground. It works in another case but not the one it's supposed to be in. Weird, huh? I checked for any loose screws or anything that would cause it to ground when I took the motherboard out of the bad case. I've tried reseating CPU's, memory, etc. but can't figure out what is causing this not to boot. Any other tips on what to look for?
What is the powersupply in the 1U case. Is it sufficient for this motherboard? Try using the powersupply from another case that you know works with this board and see what happens. The larger standard ATX powersupply won't "fit" the 1U case but you should be able to run wires to allow you to test with.

I tried another powersupply and it still wouldn't work. One thing I forgot to mention was that sometimes the computer will fire up for two seconds before cutting off. This happened on a couple of different power supply's that I tried. It's either hit or miss.
