Hi, i need help here about LG Studiowork crt monitor (500g). Unlucky, my monitor dead suddenly when i do surfing internet. So, I had to check and found that there is a defective component (explode). I tried to google the serial component "YZ010G", but no details. Please friends help me. thank you
your irf 630 is not original purchase it from proper LG authorised service centre it is costly but never become faulty again duplicate mosfet overheats if your green led is on then measure voltage at E.H.T.connect meter at output transister if E.H.T. is producing then meter should show 1 digit if not then 50v will show take care that signal cable should be disconnected if E.H.T. is not producing then check +vcc at horizontal ic it should be 12v. if 12v is not present then check regulator ic 7812 insmps
Sir,
there could be two possibilties for that
1 That your serial cable is not working or have broken pin .
&
2 Another is that you monitors picture tube has got damaged or burnt.
Usually it is second reason it can be repaired but is more expencive so i would prefer buying new one.
If the monitor is somewhat old and the monitor hardware doesn't support 1024x768 resolution, installing a new driver won't help. You will have to switch to a better monitor.
