Switches direction without reason - Audio Players & Recorders

For security reasons you will have to drill out the original break off bolts and install new ones with the new ignition switch. they dont make it easy without a key..

Not sure which window you are referring to but the problem without a doubt is in the switch. If a window motor will move the window in one direction but not the other direction then the fault is in the switch circuit. A window motor is a relatively simple circuit. There are only two wires to it. If you apply positive voltage to one wire and ground path to the other wire the motor moves the window up. If you then reverse polarity or switch the positive voltage and ground path wires then the window moves down. It cannot do one direction without the other also working if the motor is ok. Now just need to determine if the problem is in the main switch or the switch and the door in question.

It could be a loose connection on the shift, have seen this b4 ,mainly on 4WD'S, maybe due to rough & corrugated roads, however, without knowing the full story, I would say a solenoid /sensor on the transmission. Imported cars, Take your cheque book, most Aussie cars, 150 / 300 $bucks, depending on your mechanic.. You can purchase a plug in code error scanner, ( $100 / $ 1000 ) the cheaper unit wont give you the exact solenoid, but will direct you in the general area of problem, & useful for the whole car / truck/ etc. The solenoid activates a valve in the transmission ,The valve maybe stuck, .Recommend replacing it once pin pointed........K

Possible your driver is out of date. Reinstall or update it.

Random switching off usually means liquid damage. I would suggest taking into a mobile repair shop. What device do you have.

The easiest way to find an electrical draw is to remove the negative battery cable and put a test light in between the battery post and the cable. If a draw is present the light will light bright, a dim light is normal. You can now remove fuses until you find the circuit that has a short. You should start at the alternator, it is very common that a diode will short out inside of the alternator allowing it to still charge, but also have a direct short.

The bad news is with the combination of not draining and the grinding it is undoubtedly the drain pump. The good news is they are not difficult to replace. Let me know if you need any info on replacing it yourself and I'll try to give you the steps needed.

I would say that there is a part that is broke inside the sterring column!! I would have that looked into by a professional mechainc being that you have to worry about the airbag!!

It can only take a 2gb memory card. anything higher than that it won't be able to use. The reason it's saying the memory is full is because it's still using the built in 15mb (something like that)
