My garage door opener doesnt close all the way.

I hit the wall switch and the remote and I get the same result, the door goes down about 3 feet, stops, then reserves itself. The lights on the opener do not blink, it just stops. My garage door opener is a chamberlain liftmaster professional formula 1 opener.

The motor is probably either stalling because the door is too stiff, or you have a beam break detector that is being triggered when the door is halfway down.

It could be the garage door motor that is acting up. Try closing it with the button in the garage. If that's not the case, you may need a different garage door opener.

Door sensors have nothing to do with door opening. Only closing. It sounds like you have a bad gear in the motor unit. Remove the cover and it will be obvious if the gear is bad.

Your door sensors are either bad or need simply to be aligned. They must be pointed at one another to work properly. Each of them has a small light that will be lit when they are pointed correctly.

Pressing remotes the door won't go u[

It sounds like you have the lock enguaged. When it is flashing it locks out all remote access. Hold the lock button for 3 seconds. The green light should go solid. On the issue of closing, it is most likely a safety eye issue. Hold down the wall button. If it closes it is the safety eyes. Holding the button overrides the safety eyes. Make sure that thelight on both eyes are both lit.
