I let my frigidaire selfcleaning oven clean itself this morning. This evening, I turned it on to bake some brownies and it threw the breaker. When I reset the breaker, it comes back on, but when I set the oven to bake, it throws again. Not sure if something happened in the selfcleaning or what. The stove is 8 months old.
Do not try to plug it in again some of the major electric part will be blowned off if gets short circuit error.
so heres the par tyou need its a membrane switch( your cancel button ceased to operate corrrect???not a bad part to install you need to remove a few screws from under control panel itself( perhaps a few on the sides, the front control will lift off and this part is installed from behind the control panel (SHUT THE BREAKER)
in the mean time instead of shuttin off the breaker toreset you can simply( requires reading manual ) set your oven to time bake. it will shut off automatically after predetermined time has been obtained.
This is because of an over load on the circuit
the heating element is pulling to much current and throwing the breaker switch
you will need to replace the heating element and testing of the circuit to make sure there is no dammage in the ovens control circuit , because the cleaning process does takes alot of current draw

A possible shot circuit has occurred on the unit. better to check the electrical connection and plug the unit into different outlet.
Unplug the oven from the main power cord for sometime.then ON and set all the things again properly.

I unplugged the stove for over an hour. Now I can't plug it in at all. It throws the breaker immediately.
