Shuts down after a few minutes - Toshiba Satellite A305-S6825 (4400 mAh)

Have the body control module checked with a scanner, I think it may be failing.

check the cooling fans of the laptop whether they are working or not

Try running it on a hard flat surface and see if it runs better. The shutting down could be due to the machine overheating due to poor airflow. Try cleaning the air vents around the case, make sure they are not dusty.

Does it do this on just battery power or with an external power source? If on battery poer, then the battery if defective.

i suspect the device has cooling issues. the shut down is done to prevent physical damage to the machine's delicate electronics. make sure that none of the airvents are covered and try to remove dust using a can of compressed air. if this does not help, you chould contact a local repair centre for maintenance.

its a power supply problem ..check for leaky capacitors and dry joints ..farr64[colin] good luck

My science teacher had the same problem.
After, he replaced the lamp it stoped over heating.
witch is most likelywhy the tv is over heating

sounds like a lose ground wire

Without the model or make sound like a bad thermostat..check amps the the compressor and voltage... if the compressor is locking up or the thermostat cutting voltage to it..
