Removing panel cover

Keep in mind, control panel features can differ between models. However, the instructions on how to lock/unlock the control panel are printed on the front panel of these washers and are printed in the owner's manual.

Inside the dispenser drawer, at the bottom there is a tab that you can push down to remove the dispenser drawer. Remove the drawer and check if the dispenser holes are clogged, this is a common cause.

Keep in mind control panel options between models may differ slightly, but the locking feature instructions should be printed on the front panel. If you are not sure, there should be a tech sheet inside the washer behind the lower kick panel under the door. If not directly behind the panel, the sheet should be affixed to one of the interior cabinet walls.

NOTE: The Control Lock feature is a built in safety feature that allows you to lock the front panel to keep small children from manipulating the controls.

Remove the lower front panel 3 screws across the bottom. Pump will be behind this panel.

i have a kenmore elite washer the red lite is lit on controlles locked how do i solve this

I had the same problem. Turned out, electronic panel behind the door had spring action malfunctioned because of misplaced spring, which in turn caused panel to not generate a signal which, stopped the whole cycle.
Here is what I did to fix the problem- 1. Open the door 2. Remove the ring behind rubber-cover on the door. 3. Reach out to the inside-right of the door. 4. Remove the panel after removing electric connections. 5. Fix the spring action. 6. Put everything back and start the machine over.

HE 4 front load remove bottom panel 3 screws once remove now you have access to pump get towels and bucket oper lint filter and remove debris from inside ,,,,, and that its F2 long drain,,,,,,

I am getting an f 02 error

remove the top of the dryer, the bottom assess plate the console the frount panel the fbric despenser dwawer, unbolt the door latch best to remove the door from the frount panel pull arround on the lip of the seal the part that is holding it to the frount panel
once the frount of the seal is loose from the frount panel remove the frount panel and set aside
remove the spray tube from the rubber seal center top of seal
remove rear clamp
reinstall in reverse
