My HP printer puts blank pages between every document

I have a HP Photosmart c7280 All-In-One printer that puts blank pages between each document in a print job. I suspect it has something to do with the wireless setup because when I plug the printer back to the USB connection it works fine. I have 3 computers and they all do the same way on wireless. 2 of my machines are 32-bit systems and one is a 64-bit but they all do the same way. I checked in my printer properties icon under the advanced tab to make sure it wasn't set to add seperator pages and it wasn't. I'm pretty new at this wirless networking gig....I have never tried this wireless stuff until I put my router in and I just turned the wireless function on yesterday on my printer.

What are the distance of each computer from the router? it may seemed intermittent on the router since the three laptops are having the same issue ...what is the brand of your router? we can back up the router configuration and hard reset the router in that way we can tweak the signal from it.

SOURCE: HP Photosmart Printer, Mac won't recognize with USB

Sounds like their is not communications between your printer and computer. Could be a bad USB cable - swap out and see if that fixes it. If not it could be a faulty USB port on the computer or printer. You can check the computer USB port by connecting another device, but there is no way to check the HP's USB port. I would also check printer USB port for dust bunnies! If you're not able to resolve, I think it is time for another printer.

I have an HP C7280 AIO printer. Everytime I print, it always form feeds a blank page bewteen each printed page (print page 1, form feed a blank page, print page 2, form feed a blank page, and so on).

Generally, there are printer set up programs that will let you chose to put a blank sheet or to not do that. If you have a disk or manual, look for the set up utility and go thru the tabs to find paper handling or something similar to that. There should be a check box you can clear to stop the blank page.

I hope that this information was helpful. Have a great day.

Blank sheet before each printed page

Here's a simple solution. It's easy! Instead of it being the C7280 - it's the C7250 - should be the same driver however. Good Luck!
