My phone says inactive sim what shall i do
Have you used the sim with the phone before? Maybe your phone is locked by the service provider, so it will not work with a foriegn sim, Or you are having an issue with your connection package, or it could be you have a damaged sim or sim card holder, I Had the same issue with my Sony Ericsson.

there could be a issue with the contacts on the phone. the 6 pins where the SIM gets fixed. clean with the tissue & try again. if it's the same .. suggest you take it to a repair shop.

Your phone may have been blacklisted if you're using it on the same provider for which it was made. Call your provider and give them the IMEI number which is on the back behind the battery to ensure that it's clear. If it is clear, then your SIM card may be bad. Try a friend's SIM card to test.
