SOURCE: My nokia n72 keeps on saying memory full.....

hie!
if ur cell is displaying the memory full warning, it means ur phone memory is full, try to reduce some software frm the phone memory, and always install the softwares on ur memory card whenever it ask to install the path, while installing a software.

if the problem is still there, of memory full after emptying ur phone memory, then soft format ur cell, by pressing *#7370# and then the security code(12345 by default)

bt before that backup all ur important datasuch as contacts and mesages of the phone memory, as then soft format reset all the settings and flash all the phone memory.

This is what I did to unlock a memory card password in my nokia phone. You can try it in yours First is you unlock the phone

      1. Turn off the phone and insert the memory card into the memory card slot. Turn the phone back on.Press the "Menu" button on the main screen and click on the option for "Extras."

      2. Scroll down to the bottom of the list. Click the selection for "Memory Card."

      3. Select the "Options" icon on the screen. Scroll through the list to the "Unlock Memory Card" option and press "OK."

      4. Type in the unlock password in the password field. If you do not know the password, the default unlock code is either "12345" or "1357."

My nokia n95 wont send texts i can recieve then n make/recieve calls it says memory full close some applications and try again :s. ive restored back to factory settings.... help lol

Set you Message Storage Destination to Memory card and delete unwanted Smses or Bluetooth received files from the phone memory. To do this, Go to message settings and there's an option with "Default destination" or something like that, and set the Storage to Memory Card. You'll also need to close the programs that are running on the background. To do this press and hold the "Menu" key, and to close the particular program, press "C". Good luck Thanks for using FixYa.

I want to get the default memory as for memory card

Hello Saurabh,

Do you mean you want to set your memory card as your N73's default memory to store data? Well, here's how:

For Videos, select Options > Settings >> Memory in use — it define the default memory store: device memory or memory card (if inserted).

For Messages, select Message > Options > Settings >> Memory in use

For other settings, you may want to check out the manual here:

Hope this helps.

change the optional memory to memory card as the phone memory is filled completely.generally messaging uses the phone memory to operate.Messaging->options->settings->other and change the memory is use to memory card.that should solve the problem. This problem is certainly not with the memory card.hope this helps you out.

Nokia 6233 memory loss

There is only one solution, what you can do without going to the service center. Copy all the phone contacts into a notebook(Pen & Paper)I don't think that you have any die hard data on your phone except that(?)Restore the Phone by going to Menu>Setting>Phone Setting>Security Setting>Restore Phone Setting. The Security code default is 12345. Unless you didnot change it. Copy back all the contacts Voila.
