1. Switch off your Nokia phone
2. Now Press following key sequence *#7370# or *#7780#
3. Enter Default lock code is 12345.
4. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone.
5. Wait for message 'Format it

How can I hang up?

okay heres how you do it..

Slide your finger from the very top going down
the wifi, bluetooth, gps ,sound and auto rotation screen will be open
on this page you will see that your call is still active
just press clear and you will hang up the call
after this just press the home button on your phone and your back to the main menu

After installing anti virus in my N8 the phone hand. all button fail to function

if all button can't be function as it well, may be your phone was hang?? can you turn off it??if you can't just take out the battery..then try a hard reset for your phone by pressing volume down + camera key + menu key and pressing power button at the same time..it will erase your data and your application but you can download it again in ovi store

Software hang

there is two options 1. Trun off your mobile and remove your battry again turn if on this may fix it.
2. The other option is more possible to solve it you have to make master reset your mobile it is 100% chances after this your wlakman will start working. Remember to safe your all contects and messages all other thing before master reset.

press the home button and power button simultaneously fr say 10-15 seconds or maybe less.............it will reboot and itll help u a alot

Some phones answer when picked up off the charger, but with some you must press the talk button to answer. Some have a green reciever on the button. And to hang up you must press the off button or the button with the red reciever.

Hanging after i pull the connector

Sony website suggests pressing the RESET button (use a paperclip or very sharp pencil). I just did this after mine froze after data transfer - and it's now working fine again.
