Hi Wayne, I have a hotmail address and if I don't sign in before 90 days from my last sign in the account is deleted automatically, Just keep everything from that account and leave it...........CHEERS..
To delete an email address from your iPad, go to Settings -> Mail and contacts then click on the email address you want to delete. There should be a choice below that says Delete!
Delete the Facebook app from your iPad (press on its icon until it quivers, tap the X to delete it, tap the home button). Then, open the App Store application and tap Purchased. Find Facebook and re-download it. You'll be asked to log into Facebook with your user ID (email address?) and password to continue.
To delete someone's email address on your mini, open the Contacts app and locate the individual. Tap Edit at the upper right of the screen. You should see red "-" symbols next to data items on file for the person. Tap the items (phone number, email address, etc.) that you want to delete and tap Done at the upper right when you've finished.
If you need to delete the entire contact, tap Edit, then scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. Tap Delete Contact.
The following works on devices with iOS7
1. go to the homescreen by pressing the home button
2. launch the "Settings" app
3. search on the left side for "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" and tap on
4. on the right side you will see "Accounts"
5. tap on the account name you would like to remove
6. the account details will appear (ie. your email address)
7. on the bottom you will have a "Delete Account" button.
8. By taping the button you can delete the account.
Be ware an account can be associated with multiple apps not only email. By deleting the account you will not receive associated calendars, notes, or contacts.
If you would like to remove only the emails associated with one account you should switch off the email option for that account on the same screen that appears at step 6.
Simple...Since the only way you can get charged is to purchase credits through the App store...then all you need to do is delete the App.
Press and HOLD DOWN your finger over the Talk Tone App Icon. All Apps will start "Shaking". On the top left of the Talk Tone App Icon you will see a black X. Press the Black X and the app will be deleted.
Since Talk Tone doesn't have any of your credit card information...you have no risk of being charged. If you entered in a email address and your getting emails from the company just unsubscribe to the emails.
If you are trying to remove an email address you set up on your ipad just do the following. Go into SETTINGS>>MAIL, CONTACTS, CALENDERS. It should be about the 12th tab on the left. Once there you should see all the email account you have set up on your iPad starting with iCloud at the top. To delete an account tap on one you want to delete which will open up its option page with the delete button at the bottom. Hit delete to delete
If the email address exists within your contacts go to the contacts app on your ipod select the contact then click on edit and you will be able to change the email address. Failing that your contact email address may be coming in from your mail server e.g. googlemail or yahoo and you would have to amend it on your mail account if you can.
