Green flashing light and attempted restarting

Thank you for you help. My Samsung HLS6187W lost its picture and now will not start. When it is powered on, the green light blinks and it tries to start. No picture. Then shuts down and immediately tries to start again. This continues until eventually all three lights are blinking and restarts have stopped. I am under extended warranty, I replaced the lamp, but this did not help the problem. Thanks again.

    I am having the same problem. It tries to come on, but the lamp goes out within five seconds or so. I have no picture at all. I have replaced the lamp and the ballast. I am lost so I need help too.

how extended is that warranty, and what does it cover? Sounds to me like a classic video controller board about to fail.

SOURCE: dlp tv will not "fire up"

It doesn't have a flyback or an HOT genius. It's a DLP.

Check your color wheel. There is a DIY guide for replacing the color wheel. Mine did the same thing yours is and my color wheel was all busted up. Unfortunately after replacing the color wheel my set continues to do the same thing, but this could mean I need to replace the ballast as well.

My tv keeps turning itself off

If you have already fixed this then maybe this post will help others. I have a Samsung HLS6187w DLP and it was doing this. I replaced the lamp, lamp ballast, power supply and bypassed the thermo sensor and door switch. All of that didn't do it. Someone then suggested I check the color wheel. I pulled it out and spun it and could tell right away is was bad. It would slow rapidly and made a rubbing noise when it spun. I've now ordered a new one and I'm sure that will fix it.

Panasonic LiFi model number PT-50LCZ70. Have red lamp light flashing on front 2 times. Have tried to turn it on and get no picture and no sound at all. I checked and the fan is running. What now?

After the red 2 flashing starts, press the power button on the front of the TV and hold pressed down for ten seconds.
You will hear a faint click comming from the back of set.
After 10 sec release the button and wait 10 more seconds then press the start button and release right away.
The green light flashes and the bulb attempts to start.
I found my picture will turn on on the third attempt of the bulb restarting.

When you do this and the room is dark you can see the bulb attempt to restart, My bulb has restarted on the third restart every time.

(note: The three start attempt happen after I do the button pressing
1 time and I do not need further button pressing restarts.

I think panasonic needs to let us know what the problem is.

I called Panasonic and they told me to plug it into a wall plug by itself.

I have it plugged into a multi plug adaptor now and have not tried this yet.

Flashing green light

Did you try this yet

SYSTEM RESET
If the TV will not respond to either the remote control
or the front panel controls and/or will not power Off,
press the SYSTEM RESET button with a pointed item
like the end point of a paperclip. The TV will turn Off
and the TIMER light will flash quickly for about one
minute. When the TIMER light stops flashing, you may
turn on the TV again. Changes you made the last time
the TV was On before you used the SYSTEM RESET
button may be lost, however, the changes you made
previously are not lost.
POWER/TIMER Indicator
The green light is a multi-function indicator. This light
will flash rapidly for about one minute each time the TV
is plugged into the wall electrical outlet, when power
is restored after a power failure, or using the SYSTEM
RESET button. Do not attempt to turn on the TV again
during this period. Wait for the flashing to stop and
the light to turn off, before attempting to turn the TV
on. While the TV is powered on, the light illuminates
steadily. If the TV has been programmed to turn on
automatically using the Timer feature,

Samsung lcd tv ltm1755b won't turn on (power light stays red)

Problem: Samsung LTM1755B with only a blinking yellow LED when you try to turn it on.

Solution: I just had one of these come in. I opened it up, and found the U501 capacitor a little suspicious looking, in that it had a deformed top. It was a 470uF 16V electrolytic 105degC 10mm x 12mm. I replaced it with a very good quality 1000uF 16V electrolytic 105degC 10mm x 16mm Nichicon UHN1C102MPD. After that repair, when I tried to turn it on, the LED was yellow for a second, then green, then I got a picture, and it appeared to work great. I then asked the owner a week later how it was working, and they said it was working just like new!

Blue screen with Green Star-burst image in center?

Here's something that might also be useful. After you turn on the set, and get the regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device and Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds.
The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.

For example, 3 flashes, then 7 flashes = 37.

Here are the error codes, and the corresponding problem:

12 = No error detected, check power supply.
32 = Lamp Cover is open.
33 = Air filter cover is open.
34 = Lamp abnormality
36 = Light Engine (DMD or Lamp Fan stopped)
37 = Exhaust or Lamp Ballast Fan stopped
38 = Lamp Temperature High
39 = DMD Temperature High
41 = Short is detected
44 = DVI cable between FMT and Engine disconnected
