Did you run the Original Size detection tray procedure? That is done in service mode. Counter, details, stop 00 stop 01, ADF, original size detect MAX and MIn. Max the original guide to the back for min. guides to the center.

Please. Do NOT rely on 'Driver Detective'.... !!!

Just un-install the software from this and the driver and download
and install the original Epson SX515w printerdriver and software!

I got the manual for my J3680 all in one printer, BUT

Hello

It sounds like the scanner/fax is not seeing the original document that you want to scan or fax.

Per Page 20 of the User Manual, the original needs to be placed face down in the document feeder. (The document feeder is on the top of the printer, behind the display.)

When you insert the original, make sure the leading edge is sliding into the top of the printer (towards the front of the printer).

Per the user manual, you should hear a beep and/or see a message on the display stating the loaded pages were detected.

If you are not hearing the beep or seeing the message, your original is not loaded correctly - try sliding it further into the printer.

I get a message the catridge inserted is not intended to use with this printer

HP has embeded tools to detect if you are using the original HP cartridge or not in their printer driver.It detect fake catridge & display message to the user.That is the message you are encountering.Avoid using fake catridge for long printer life and good quality printing.

The function detecting the remaining ink level is disable

Hi, are you using Original Canon supplies or are the cartridges you are using are refilled/ or non-canon supplies? If they are not original Canon supplies I'm afraid the use of the "ink gauge" is one of the features lost when refilling your cartridges or using non-original supplies. If you get a new set of supplies (Canon branded) the gauge should work again .

did you share printer on Main PC ( the PC where are the original drivers )?
Under printer properties, mark "share printer" and apply and ok.

How do I re-enable the ink level monitor on my Canon iP4200 printer?

Did you mean 'activate ink level detection function' of this printer?. Did you deactivate this function before?. Did you refill the ink tank?. Well, ink level detection function will active automatically when you replace the ink with new original one.

Ink

Better not to refill. Better buy a new original Canon cartridge. The reason being that some of the newer printers have sensors which can detect refilled cartridges and will cause more problems later.
