My MSI u135dx does not recognise my built in webcam and it is not on the device manager or anything! What can I do??

Personally i would take it to a computer shop and get them to have a look at it. also if you have uninstalled the camera or it has never been installed then you will have to get a new driver for it!!

If it is an internal webcam (the one on the top of the monitor) look for a key on your keyboard,which has a webcam picture on it,then press the key and Fn (function) key at the same time when you're on the desktop
If it is an external webcam (which connected to the USB ports) go to Device Manager by right clicking on My Computer,select Properties,on the Properties window click on Hardware tab,then click Device Manager. Or if you are using windows Vista or windows 7,you can type "device" on the start menu and select Device Manager
On device manager window,expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers and see if there are an USB which has "?" sign on it (or any sign)
Then right click on the signed device (if there are one) and select uninstall,follow the uninstall process and restart your computer
The computer will reinstall the driver automatically
Please let me know if it's working

The link is for the software direct from Creative Labs. Get the Webcam center to view your camera and at the bottom of the page is the driver update. It needs to be installed first. Good luck with that. (save both files to your desktop then disconnect from the web and install the driver first then the cam monitor software)

You have to activate it,
Firstly press "Fn" (next to Ctrl) and then add "F6"(the key with the webcam symbol) , that's how we got it working

1st You download Webcam Driver.
Msi webcam 370i
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

Its there somewhere have you checked c;\program files it should be there
When did it go missing have you changed anything in your system
