SOURCE: to remove the lock code
Connect the iPod and go to 'my computer';
-open the iPod by right clicking on the iPod icon;
-on the toolbar menu click on 'Tools'
-select folder options>view>& check the box that says "show hidden files & folders"
-then click 'ok'
You will see a ghost folder called 'iPod control'. Open this folder to access the other folders & files contained within it.
Delete the file called "Itunes_lock"

now how does this help ?? well i set my code as 1234 and this is what the first 4 digits were: _òão
if
u look at the first one and compare to the guide it shows that the
first digit is 1 the second 2 the third 3 and the last is 4! taaa
daaaa!!!!
