Sansa Sandisk E270 - Refreash Database

Okay, the other day I decided that I wanted to upload moresongs onto my player, I plugged it into the usb cord that was hooked up to my computer. Once it had powered up, a screen was up that said Refreash Database that had a status bar on it. The player is stuck at this screen, the computer doesn't recognize that it is hooked up to the computer, and it is frozen, none of the buttons seem to work. Please help!! I love my Mp3 player, but why is it doing this to me????!!!!11

I found that the unit needs to be turned on first then plug it into your usb port.

I uploaded songs onto my Sansa. I can see most of them, but some of them do not show up. Any idea why not?

Songs with no ID3 tags tend not to show up on the Sansa e200 models (this includes e250, e260,e270, and e280 V1 and V2

Usb not recognise

If this happens when you try to upload it go into the MP3 players settings menu and change the USB mode in the menu to the one it isn't currently on. This should make it work and if not then try to check out the Sansa forums for someone else who might have had this problem with their MP3 player. I had that problem with my Sansa and when I did that it started to work again. Certain uploads on those require a certain USB setting for it to be on.

SanDisk Sansa e270 MP3 Player has only 79 songs and 3 GB used

You may have some corrupt data on the device.

It sometimes creates the wrong file allocation and gives you an incorrect representation of the free space.

Try formatting the device in My Computer to erase all of the information and start over.

My Computer>Device Name(e270)>Right Click and select FORMAT.

Best of Luck.

Cannot charge or copy music onto the sansa e270

You might not have the battery "seated" correctly. Try removing and replacing the battery.
