Dc 5000 sff. wont power up. green light on motherbd flashes. if power on button is pushed, the front green led blinks too. I have replaced the pwr supply w/no change.

    I dont think its the pwr on button in front, as only the motherbd green lite flashes when initially plugged in. At that point, if the pwr on is pushed, it also flashes along with the mobo lite, but once the front pwr button is released, only the mobo lite flashes once again. I've left it plugged in for quite a while and would guess the green mobo lite would just sit and flash all day long. There are no audible beeps.

    I will try removing the cmos battery and respond back if that helps.

    I appreciate the suggestions, but unfortunately they didn't help. Iv'e got a feeling that the motherbd is the problem. Unless I can get one really cheap, I probably won't stick any more into this pc.

Make sure both the 4 pin and 20 pin connectors are firmly installed. if the mobo light flashes how many times does it flash, do you hear any beeps?

try to reset BIOS by CMOS battery from motherboard and insert again...if not worked then..ur motherboard needs to be replaced...

by mb pwr connector do you mean the swich on the pc case that you press to turn it on or do you mean the large block connector form the power supply ?

If you mean the case switch then you have a faulty one that is sendinga constant signal and locking up the power supply

sounds like you have your answer, your computer is hosed. unless you want to keep swapping parts to try to see if it's memory or cpu, I'd just get a new motherboard/cpu/ram combo (they've come a long way since you got that computer, I'll bet)

I have a herritage t101, it displays the Ls error and has no drive whatsoever but was working a few month back

The SCR lower board is designed with diagnostic LED lights. The LED's are color coded according to
their specific function. Green indicates a properly operating treadmill; the green lights should always
be ON when power is supplied to the treadmill. Yellow indicates a treadmill function. Red indicates a
treadmill malfunction. Here is a list of each LED and what it signifies:
MOTOR (yellow) - The MOTOR LED illuminates when dc (direct current) voltage is sent to the drive
motor. The LED gets brighter when the dc output is increased.
RLC (yellow) - The RLC (R = Reactance / L = Inductance / C = Capacitance) LED illuminates when
the filtering system is properly working. The filtering system includes the capacitor and filter choke. If
there is a short in either component then the RLC light will not come on.
DN & UP (yellow) - The DN and UP LED lights tell us if the elevation DN and UP relays are

I have a reebok crosswalk rt 5.0 treadmill. I can calibrate the incline and it goes up and down. however when you press the button to raise the incline the incline number will change but the machine does...

Try this again. and fix it.b) LUBE the gear motor, shaft and turn the POT a little and see if the motor get RPM.

The Steps for Newer Style Console Calibration:

  1. Locate the calibration area on the rear or underside of the console (a hole, near the console's center, that goes through to the electronics board. (This hole should not have a screw in it.)

  2. Insert a pencil (eraser end), into the hole and feel around for the cal button (will click when pressed).

  3. Press the button 2 times (with the pencil eraser). The first click should show CL11 in the console, the second click should show CL21.

  4. If the process was done correctly, and CL21 appears in the console, you are in "calibration mode." The next few steps consists of pressing buttons on the console and observing settings. This will not require any other tools.

  5. Press ENTER. CL22 should display in the TIME window and (??) in the SPEED window.

  6. Press ENTER. CL23 should display in the TIME window and (??) in the SPEED window.

  7. Press ENTER. CL24 should display in the TIME window and (??) in the SPEED window.

  8. Press ENTER. CL25 should display in the TIME window and (??) in the SPEED window.

  9. Press ENTER. CL26 should display in the TIME window. You should then see the letter "E."

  10. Press ENTER. You should see "SS" or "55" in the console.

  11. Push the STOP/START button. For safety, at this point, you should step off, or be off, the treadmill.

  12. Push the ENTER button. The walking belt should start to move, accelerate to maximum speed, then stop on its own.

  13. When the belt stops, the incline should self test by raising to its highest incline position, then lowering back down to its lowest position.

  14. Once the incline test is complete, push the POWER button 2 times. The unit should shut off and the console should go completely blank. If this happens, the treadmill is done calibrating and is ready for use.

  15. If the letter "F" appears in the SPEED or INCLINE window when the power button is pressed 2 times, the treadmill is indicating a failure somewhere either in the SPEED or INCLINE (depending on the window the "F" appeared in).

Step 3:

please lube the elevation motor, shaft, and gear, and adjust the POT for RPM, and see what happen. see the diagram + block diagram attached for troubleshooting and fix it.

Ga-x58a-ud3r the pwr led keeps flashing but not always depending on what im doing (pwr led front panel). this is a new system. i7 930, 12gb corsair xms 3, four 500 g hd raid 0, geforce gtx+ 9800 512mb,...

that is custom system like mine a DIY build
and custom unstated case., bought as new case only I bet of vast.
and if built wrong it fails.
the LED is where the POWER on LED wired wrong is it.
the Power on led does flash wired correctly for sleep mode.
if wired wrong is now the HDD activity LED, and should flash
x58 is good chip set, pure intel it is
usb3 chip NEC needs good driver so watch out there.

goes to pins 2 and 4 only on the header. page 30 in linked manual
if is wired correctly the led is called MSG

MSG/PWR (Message/Power/Sleep LED, Yellow/Purple):

is on when the system is operating. The LED keeps blinking when the sys-On is in S1 sleep state. The LED is off when the system is in S3/S4 sleep Blinking state or powered off (S5)
so the manual told you blinking is S1 power state ACPI.
other causes
bad LED (power button)
loose wires at mobo end of that or at power switch.
mobo bad, here, rare as hens teeth if user did not jumper DC power to this LED pin and blow the driver transistor up. guesses wild does that.
BIOS controls (you set it) soft power off , instant off or off. mode.

no case told some are dead wrong here, some cases , use a 2 way LED for power, and is 2 LED wired in parallel and reversed
to get 2 colors . and fails on simple mobo. not using bipolar controls to LED. NO CASE told so NO JOY , 10,000 cases made or more that the same but generic cases do work if is that, not OEM cases..

My mitsubishi 46 inch wont turn on, when you click power on green power button light goes off then flashes 3 times

This is not something that I believe the average joe can do aYoiu need to have it serviced. the fix is below and i amn sure you wil then understand why I said get a tech.


Cause #1 1. Red status LED, self-diagnosis error 44, check for open F9A06 on the Power PCB part # 283P128050 on the Power PCB 2. Red lamp LED, self diagnosis error 34. Check for 5-volts DC at J-9 connector pin 1 and 2 on the Engine Driver PCB if missing replace the Power PCB part # 930B921002 3. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. This model is equipped with a keyboard lock feature, this can be mistaken as a no power condition. To unlock the keyboard press and hold the "menu" button on the front panel for 10 seconds 4. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. Check for 3.2 volts DC at connector LE pin 3 and 4 on the Control PCB, if low suspect problems with the switches/buttons on the Control PCB part # 935D776001 5. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. Keyboard is not locked and key inputs at connector LE pin 3 and 4 check good. Suspect the E2P PCB part # 934C121001 6. (LED does not stop blinking after plug in) Disconnect the USB connector from the card reader to the front from the Chassis, if the LED stops blinking after 70 seconds replace the Card Reader part # 299P271010. 7. (LED does not stop blinking after plug in) Disconnecting the USB connector from the Card Reader did not help. Remove connector FC from the FMT PCB and plug the unit in, if the LED stops blinking after 70 seconds with FC removed suspect a problem on the FMT PCB (part # 930B924002), if the LED keeps blinking with connector FC removed suspect a problem on the DM PCB (part # 934C116002). 8. Blinking green light on front of ws55909 projection tv. have reset it by both unplugging and pushing reset button. light continues to flash. has for 2 days. can't operate tv

do this press and hold device and menu button on the front of set.. this is to retrieve a to digit error code flashed by the leds. also this set neds to "boot" let the led flash for at least 70 seconds. if it continues to blink the tv failed to boot. There is service bulliteens that states capacitors in power supply can be bad. this capacitors are kinda hard to get to and rather invovled to replace

Help w/ the flashing green light

Good Day;

Cause #1 1. Red status LED, self-diagnosis error 44, check for open F9A06 on the Power PCB part # 283P128050 on the Power PCB 2. Red lamp LED, self diagnosis error 34. Check for 5-volts DC at J-9 connector pin 1 and 2 on the Engine Driver PCB if missing replace the Power PCB part # 930B921002 3. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. This model is equipped with a keyboard lock feature, this can be mistaken as a no power condition. To unlock the keyboard press and hold the "menu" button on the front panel for 10 seconds 4. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. Check for 3.2 volts DC at connector LE pin 3 and 4 on the Control PCB, if low suspect problems with the switches/buttons on the Control PCB part # 935D776001 5. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. Keyboard is not locked and key inputs at connector LE pin 3 and 4 check good. Suspect the E2P PCB part # 934C121001 6. (LED does not stop blinking after plug in) Disconnect the USB connector from the card reader to the front from the Chassis, if the LED stops blinking after 70 seconds replace the Card Reader part # 299P271010. 7. (LED does not stop blinking after plug in) Disconnecting the USB connector from the Card Reader did not help. Remove connector FC from the FMT PCB and plug the unit in, if the LED stops blinking after 70 seconds with FC removed suspect a problem on the FMT PCB (part # 930B924002), if the LED keeps blinking with connector FC removed suspect a problem on the DM PCB (part # 934C116002). 8. (LED does not stop blinking after plug in) On the DM PCB (part # 934C116002) check C81A2, C81A3, C81B3 and C81B4 (1000 UFD, 16V, 105C), if any are bad, replace all of them with part # 181P734030 (680 uFD, 16V, 105C). See Service Tip VS-78A 9. My TV won't turn on. The Green light just keeps on flashing

1. Check for no 8.4 volts DC at pin 3 of PC9A10 on the Power PCB, if low or missing replace PC9A10 part # 268P058020. 2. LED does not blink at plug in. Check for 3.3-volts DC at connector RF pin 3 (system reset) if low or missing suspect the reset switch S7L20 part # 432P109010 on the Control PCB. 3. LED does not stop blinking after plug in. Verify the standby supplies, 12-volts at connector KA pin 17, 6-volts at KA pin 18 and the 28-volts at KA pin 19, if the supplies are present suspect the DM PCB part # 934C067002 4. LED does not stop blinking after plug in. Check C9B01, C9B02, C9B10, and C9B11 (1000 UFD 16) on the DM PCB, if they are bad replace them with part # 181P734030 (680 UFD 16 V). 5. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. This model is equipped with a keyboard lock feature; this can be mistaken as a no power condition.
