SOURCE: accidently uninstalled video controllere (VGA compatable driver windows xp

You can download the video driver from the graphics card manufacturer's WEB site for Windows XP.
Since you did not give me the make and model of your graphics card I cannot direct you to the graphics manufacturer's WEB site.

Drivers from web site dont work still have yellow ? in device manager on video controller vga compatable

Hi

Have you tried all the windows updates as they sometimes give you the new display driver

Or you could go and look for another driver and make sure that you get the one for your operating system as that is important

If you still get no luck if you post up what your operating system is someone may be able to direct you to a driver

I try to movies on DVD, it says please install VGA

Hi,
This is because the graphics card driver is not installed\corrupted. I've you have the driver CD insert it and install the driver for the graphics card. Else go to HP.com and select 'Drivers and download', specify your laptop model and Operating system. Download the drivers and install it.
Please come back and vote for me if this turns to be helpful for you of also if you need more clarifications. Thnx

Audio driver for hp pavilion ze2000

This Link
seems to provide the best thorough approach to getting those drivers installed & working.

However, someone claims, on this forum page(last post on the page) that all you need to do is use the "windows online driver search" function, and it will handle all of the messy work of locating, downloading & installing.

I hope that helps.

Hp pavilion freezes when i connect usb device

You can try upgrading your BIOS on your system as well as the chipset drivers. Try the link below, it takes you to the driver page for a ze2000. with windows XP.

No volume at all. device manager says no sound device detected. drivers and software have all been updated. it's a 2004 hp pavilion ze2000 with xp home.

Check the BIOS, it may have been disabled there, or may otherwise be faulty.
If its enabled in the BIOS the only surefire way to test if it's faulty is a complete system restore.

XP on HP Pavilion dv2000

For the laptop with no hard drive detected, this is most likely because Windows XP does not recognize SATA drives by default, which the laptop most likely has. To solve this, you will need to enter the BIOS setup utility (most likely Delete or F1 on startup). From there, you will need to change the drive mode to Compatibility mode. I'm not sure where this would be, but if you check in your laptop manual, you can probably find this somewhere.

For the 2519TU, download and install this for the LAN driver: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp30001-30500/sp30264.exe it should work just fine.

Good luck!
