No. ipad does not have sdcard or micro-SD card slot to transfer to external device.
Verify what type of memory is used on your Tomtom Start 25. Also verify the max capacity and speed supported.
Prefer a laptop with sdcard carrier with micro-SD to download and transfer file physically or download to pc and transfer via usb cable. See page 95 of the attached manual
Most traffic reporting is done over FM radio frequencies so it really doesn't matter whether it's rush hour or not, unless your GPS traffic receiver is being shielded by other traffic, but this is unlikely. You can learn all about how this is done at http://www.gpsreview.net/traffic/ If the traffic receiver is external to the GPS, like with the Garmin NUVI where it's in the power cord, make sure it's not near some dense metal that might be shielding it.
I'm using the TomTom Go 730T - I think this is the latest and the last TT with Traffic because TT stopped supplying this option. I'm having the same problem from time to time but a reset helps. Just press the Reset button and after restarting the traffic option is back.

The device depends on external transmitters broadcasting traffic data. I'm not certain that the service is even available in South Africa. Please check to make sure you can use it before you purchase anything.
because tom tom uses the bluetooth connection via your cell phone to obtain traffic conditions on the newer verision of tomtoms they use the rds signals
Turn on your device by pressing the power button for 5 seconds.
TomTom HOME starts.
In TomTom HOME, click Add Maps, Traffic, Voices etc. and then click Items on my computer.
Then expand Applications by clicking the plus symbol and click Add.
my tomtom worked well the other day. have not use it for 5 days. try to turn it on today, does not work. try recharging for 2 hrs still the same, does not turn on. please help
