I've always made sure to run the battery out before re-charging, but this is the first time, it seems to be charging but the light stays red and I can't get scooter to budge a lick.....
I had the same problem with mine and it ended up being that one of the batteries was bad, there are two 12v batteries wired in series under the seat, usually you can tell which one is bad by looking at them, one of the batteries will be swelled up
Please tell me how to read the rest of your Solution. You say, 'one of the batteries will be swelled up' ... is there more to your answer? Swelled up how? Swelled up with what? I've taken the seat off & see them, but what do I look for now? Thanks!
Does one or both of the batteries look like its bulging?
Do you have a multimeter? if not you can get one at the local hardware store for about $10, you'll need this to determine which one of the two cells is bad, also we want to make sure that your charger is putting out enough power. Can you take the two batteries out and take a picture of them? and post it on here
let me know when you get the multimeter then ill let you know how to test the charger first

SOURCE: e-100 razor scooter battery will not take charge
its dead they need to be recharged every time they have been used
SOURCE: I own a Razor E100
If you mean it flicks straight over from charging to charged then this is classic signs the E100 battery is dead & needs replacing.

I have this same problem? What do you do? I bought a new charger thinking it was that and the light stays green on it too.
