Seems as though the camera is working fine. You take the pic and nothing, it acts like it did it but nothing happens.

SOURCE: Using flash freezes up camera

When taking pictures, you must really be allowing time for the camera's flash to be charged
before you could take another picture so that camera will have enough time to rest and it
could function normally.
But if the camera was dropped, then it's really causing those kinds of issues like flash will not work properly.

You could still try these steps below:

First, do the POWER RESET:
- Turn off camera
- Remove batteries for a minute
- Reload batteries
- Turn on camera

Second, do the MASTER RESET
- Be in AUTO mode
- Press on MENU button
- Press on the right button until you see SETUP 2
- Scroll down until you see RESET
- Press the right button to pick up on YES or NO
- Press on OK/MENU button for changes to be saved
- Turn off camera for a few seconds so that settings will be refreshed

Turn it on and take a picture.
When you want to have just the AUTO FLASH.

- Rotate the mode dial to PROGRAM
- Press the LEFT/FLASH button until you've seen the
LIGHTNING icon with the Letter A on the leftmost part of the screen
- Try to take a picture by pressing and holding the shutter button
halfway first for 3-5 seconds and then press it all the way down

If it still does not work, you need to contact the Manufacturer.

SOURCE: Autofocus not working

When the camera is OUT OF FOCUS, these are the steps that you could try:

1 Power Reset
- Turn off camera
- Remove batteries for a minute
- Reload batteries
- Turn on camera

2 Distance
- When the distance between the camera and the subject is too close,
the strength of the light can cause the picture to overexposed and
be blurred. On the contrary, if the distance is too far,
the beam is too weak to shed enough light on the subject.
Allow yourself enough space between you and your subject.

3 Shutter
- If you press the shutter before the flash is fully charged,
the flash will not be able to emit enough light and therefore
the image can be blurred.

4 Surrounding Light
- Use the fill-in flash mode to create a balanced shot when
the surrounding light is very bright.

5 Backlight
- Use the backlight control feature when the background
is brighter than the subject.

6 Cleaning
- Clean the lenses with a smooth piece of cloth.

7 ASR (Advanced Shake Reduction)
- Put in ASR mode to prevent any blur

8 Master Reset
- Press on MENU button
- Press on the right button until you see SETUP
- Scroll down until you see RESET
- Press the right button to pick up on YES or NO
- Press on OK/MENU button for changes to be saved
- Turn off camera for a few seconds for changes to be saved

* If it still does not work, you need to send the camera for repair.
Just contact the Manufacturer so they could tell you how to send camera safely.

Www kodak com go support

I cannot be certain, but most likely the import function is not programmed to look for newer pictures, but rather to import everything it finds on your camera.
If you have off-loaded all the pictures in your camera to your computer, why not just re-format the memory card in the camera so that it does have only the most recent pictures you take?

Internal defect needs factory service. Module inside needs replacing and you cannot do that.

There is sound but no picture and there is no response when using the control buttons on side of tv or the remote. I turn the tv on and change channels thru Comcast cable.

Talked to a Westinghouse tech and told to unplug for about 3-5 minutes, then re-plug. It's like having to re-boot your computer when it goes down or starts acting wacky. It worked, I got picture. Says it could happen again, maybe 1-2 times a year is o.k., if it starts to happen every few weeks, then it's something more.

This has happened to me before. What I did was just use the cord that came with the camera and plug it into the computer and just get it off that way. So then you will still have your pictures and it will be safe for you to format your card.

Display screen doen not work,

I have recently talked to a Nikon tech. Three things he said to do, and make sure of, are: 1- with the power on do a reset by pushing the 2 green buttons on the top of the camera at the same time, untill the top screen flashes. 2 - make sure your using a nikon lens. 3 - Make sure your media is on the nikon approved list, here is a link http://support.nikontech.com/cgi-bin/nikonusa.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=14048&p_created=1155132515

I hope this helps

Casio wont take pictures

That lens error msg means that you need to send it in. There is no resetting that you can do to fix that. Call the repairs center at 800-706-2534 and then keep choosing option 1. Tell them what's going on and that you would like to send it in for repairs. If they ask just lie and tell them you already talked to tech support. LOL
