I have a C 902, this morning it went dead. The screen is black but the buttons are still lit. Can connect to Computer as it no longer recognizes my phone ... anything I can do?

You can try do a Sony Ericsson Phone Repair via PC Suite as a last resort, but make sure you back up all your data before you do so as it may delete all your data from your phone. I have had my c902 for 5 months and this morning it switched off, the buttons still light up and the touch screen buttons on the camera keep coming on, also the flash is flashing on and off. when i finally manage to get it switched on the buttons don't work properly anymore so whenever i try to red my messages it gos back to main screen and eventually switches itsself off again.i have noticed that every so often it switches itself off randomly and freezes alot. this is soo annoying considering it was £200.

Hi ive had 3 C902 phones know it kept freezing until it got progressivly worse and now it wont switch on atal(I know cause normally u get a lil bit of vibrate) but i know my batery works cause the blue light on the touch screen for camera works.So it doesnt need a new screen its just shite
I have the same problem.
It keeps vibrating on and off without actually starting. I took out the battery for about an hour and restarted it, the beginning screen then showed up but then promptly disappeared.
The moisture indicators were clear and I'm pretty sure the software was up to date. I sent it to the repair facility, hopefully it'll come back fixed.
Same thing happened to me. got phone 6 months ago and always had trouble with it, freezing, switching off and on. been meaning to transfer all the data on my pc and get a replacement from orange as I have insurance but didn't get round to it, then the other day the phone wouldn't come on, just the light and the short vibrating sound, but screen was dead. called orange and they adviced to try and connect to the pc as the pc could still pick up the data, but pc couldn't connect to phone. if anyone has a solution on retrieving the info please let me know as I need to get all my important data before i can replace it. thanks
