Element on ceramic Frigidaire Gallery cooktop won't go off.

Turned off knob and inner circle burner keeps coming on so had to cut power off to range top. Is the problem the knob or element? When I turned it back on to cook, only the inner burner keeps coming on instead of cooking with the whole burner.

The left rear stove element went on High and would not turn off by controls, why? There was an F550 code that came earlier with the oven?

My range was doing the same thing. I finally called the Consumer Protection Agency and reported it. It launched a national recall. With their help, Frigidaire replaced my range. On Easter 2014, the new one did the same thing. Burner turned on by itself, to 8.5 with knob in the off position. We had to unplug it. Frigidaire once again did not care. I contacted the CPSA again - they are investigating. I will NEVER have another Frigidaire Range. Check your model number against the recall information. Don't trust it! It is a fire hazard.

Had a spill on my kitchenaid KGCC566RBL gas glass cooktop. some dripped in the knobs and under the glass top. How do I access that to clean?

I found this......

https://www.doityourself.com/stry/how-to-replace-a-glass-cooktop-on-kitchenaid-ranges

I read it and it's on replacing but the top comes out.
Gloves are a good idea too. Cut power at the breaker.
unless easy access to the wiring/plug.
Hope this helps you.
Have a good evening.

Cooktop burner do not ihnite

Hi hgodoy2 - Is the electronic igniter aligned properly? Ensure that tip of spark igniter is aligned with metal point or "nib" located on underside of burner cap after the burner mounting screws have been tightened. (Not all burners having mounting screws). When the burner control knob is set to the "LITE" position do the igniters spark? Can gas be heard or smelled coming from the burners when the control number is turned on? However, if you smell gas, I highly recommend turning the unit and the gas off if you can reach it and contact your gas provider. The range itself does not have a switch or regulator to relight it. Keep in mind that it may be experiencing an issue with the spark module, electrodes, wiring or EOC.

Just purchased Ilve Ceran ceramic cooktop. Is V364X the cooktop model number? The outer are of the left front burner does not heat up

You may already be aware of this but ... If our ilve ceran cooktop is the same as yours turn the knob past the 12 setting till you feel pressure and it springs back. This is the switch to fire up the marked outer elements.

Frigidaire ES340 Range One element from Dual element doesn't work

The elements DO BURN OUT. Replace it.

Often you can see evidence of a hot spot on the element where the final failure occured, but not always.

My Viking VECU105 electric cooktop has one burner which will not regulate the temperature. It can be turned on and off with the control knob, but after that, there is no temperature control. Any ideas on...

It will need either a dual infinite or infinite switch, If the burner has an inner an outer element then it requires the dual.

Firstly turn power off at breaker.

The unit needs to be removed from the cut out and the cover removed from below the swtichs. the knob taken off and the secureing screws removed, then take note of the layout of the wiring and the poistion of the switch, then swap the wires, reassemble test and then re-install

Stove problem - outer cirlcle of an expandable element not working

You will need to call a professional these are very complicated and not easy to service, there are no fuses either. It will most likely be the element itself that has failed and they are not cheap. It also could be the switch too however it will take a person very familiar with schematics to properly diagnose it. Or you could just replace the element and switch yourself and that would most likely solve it.
