install hp deskjet 3745 without the cd installer,

If you do not have the disk you download software from Internet, follow instructions below,

Click here:Drivers and Software:HP Officejet 4215

A web page will open, follow instructions, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
Afterdownloading,findthefile,doubleclick on the file, if you get introubles ,thenfollowinstructionsbelowto reset and reinstall:

• Unplug printer USB.
• Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
• Download driver from website and run the file.
  
• Follow driver installation wizard.
• Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

Note some printer does not work on Vista.

Ask the dealer or call the manufacturing department about the installation cd

Here's what you need to do sir:

1. go to support.hp.com

2. then select the language you prefer

3. choose Software and Driver Downloads, then type Deskjet 3745 into the text box and proceed to next page

4. then select HP Deskjet 3745 Color Inkjet Printer

5. select your operating system

6. then choose the type of driver that you want to install

i do not have a cd for lexmark printer x1240. i cannot install

You have to pry the front panel of the box. Then inside the box push the black slide upwards to unlock the drive. It will then slide out of the box. You have to undo the power and data cables as well of course.
Put the screws from the old drive into the new DVD. Installation is in reverse order.
