Need to set a pitney bowes 9820 to print a fax confirmation

We have an old Pitney Bowes 9820 fax machine. The company has had it so long the manual has disappeared. The machine always printed a fax confirmation after you sent a fax until yesterday. All of a sudden we do not get a confirmation that our fax has gone through. I don't know how to set it to print confirmations (hoping setting it again will solve the problem).

    Thanks leroyal. The info seems to be for a different machine. I did manage to figure out my issue with my 9820 though. As it turns out I was correct that I had to go into the set options function but I didn't know the password. I figured out the password and was able to set it to print the TX reports so I'm good. Thanks so much for the great site though! Have an awesome day!

Pitney bowes 9820 fax machine is popping up error 50 check printer what might be the problem
Error 50 is a service error and you will need to contact your local computer repair or go to their site and talk to customer service to get someone to fix this for you.

Error code 050 what is this? PITNY BOWES 9820
This is a defective laser code. The lubrication in the laser has hardened and the laser cannot turn as fast as it needs to.
Oce is the repair people for PB faxes now. 1 800 243 5556

My Pitney Bowes 9820 fax machine says check printer service due. When I hit the help key it asks for a password which I entered 9820, but no other key after that seems to work
Service due and check printer may be two different problems
check printer may be a fuser or laser problem
service due may be a counter for a ozone filter that needs to be changed to make the EPA ha[[y. If you wait too long to reset the filter counter, it can go to a check printer and cease printing

To reset the counter, press function 99, yes,access code is ***1.yes
press 146, yes, then press 1 to reset, press yes. press stop to exit

Pitney Bowes 1530 Fax Machine
On top of the operating panel is a small removeable tab with a bump on top. (not the Blue ones) Pull it out of the machine This is the battery holder.
The battery is a CR 2032. Most electronic stores sell them.

Function 9, access code is 9720, press yes, press no until you get to set access code? press yes, delete code, press yes, press stop. I don't think this manual in online any more, but you can go to www.oceusa.com, go to drivers and support, and look for 9820 or 9800 series. The programming instructions are the same as this model
