My notebook use to list the option, "Find Networks" as one the selectionswhen the Lenovo Care icon was clicked on the Desktop. Now it does not list this option. What can I do to get it back?
Generally if you go to your Internet Network manager or right click on the bars or if that is missing then you may have to make sure that all information and icon are checked for showing on your desktop or in the tray. Select the options to show at desktop tray that will show at the right hand lower side of the system tray.
Also because you may be setup for locating Networks when you start up automatically. Then it may not show up because the software does not need to find any Networks because your logged on already. If you have Internet then you are logged in. If not you will have to go to the manager section of Network setup and configure your network again.........John

SOURCE: "Drivers for Lenovo 3000 N500 laptop"
if you did a fresh install you don't have any of the drivers you need, so you'll want to go to :
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?subcategoryind=0&familyind=437897&brandind=10&doccategoryind=0&modelind=0&doctypeind=9&validate=true&partnumberind=0&sitestyle=lenovo&template=/productpage/landingpages/productPageLandingPage.vm&operatingsystemind=343518&machineind=438304
and pick up the drivers you want, you can ctrl+f with the title to find specific things
SOURCE: " Web cam , graphics not detecting"
yeah, go to
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?subcategoryind=0&familyind=437897&brandind=10&doccategoryind=0&modelind=0&doctypeind=9&validate=true&partnumberind=0&sitestyle=lenovo&template=/productpage/landingpages/productPageLandingPage.vm&operatingsystemind=343518&machineind=438304
that is a list of the drivers available, make sure the operating system is set to windows vista and then look through the list for the web cam and general service package download

You will need to download the drivers and software from the lenovo support site for vista

Check the back of your laptop for the type number and select accordingly for the drivers.

My laotop ha a Lenovo Care icon on the Desktop. Up until last weekj when I clicked on the icon I was given a list of option and "Find Networks" was one option. When I clicked on this option a window would open displaying circurlar rings na ddifferent available networks, showing type (secure or not) and strenght in %. This option (Find networks)has disappeared from the menu. I can still connect to a network and do not any administrator. I would like to know if there is any way to restore this option. I liked it.
