Fuse or the fan relay.....Undo the coolant temp sensor and see if it comes on, if it does then its the relay.....or wait until motor gets warm then check the plug to the fan (make sure you undo the harness 1st), is getting power....if it does then your fan is shot....

96 corsica chevy rightside daytime and rightside lowbeam light goes out.and comes back on after breaking speedq

Sounds like you have a loose connection somewhere. You will need to remove the light and start tracing the wires.

Where is the cooling fan sensor on my 1995 chevy corsica

The computer takes info from the engine temp sensor to decide if the fan is needed. The temp sensor is on the intake manifold and has two wires. Check the relay too.

My 1996 chevy corsica has a wiper switch that is either slow or really fast would a switch from another 96 corsica that has the delay work with my 96 corsica? I found one at junkyard, dont want to get...

You will not be successful replacing just the switch. Cars with delay wipers utilize different wiper motors, and wiring harness's than cars without.

I am looking for the heater core on a 1996 chevy corsica. Is it behind the firewall and can i access it from under the vehicle?

It is inside the vehicle towards the centre front of the floor, against the firewall and floor. If you want to remove it you will need to drain the coolant from the radiator and disconnect the 2 hoses going through the firewall. Remove the side panels from the centre console. Then comes the heater ducting and the core cover. You have very little space to work in so lots of patience is called for. And begging, followed by swearing and pleading. Once done you will have saved yourself upwards of $500 in labour costs.

I have a 1994 chevy corsica..The coolant is leaking out from a hose by the fan..how do i check to see where the leak is coming from

Some parts houses will rent coolant pressure tester,Sometimes for free with refundable deposit. pressurize system at radiator cap with radiator and reservoir full. Look for white residue from dried coolant. You will probably need to look in the area where you see coolant leaking. Most likely you will find a hose leaking , could possibly be leaking from radiator

How difficult is it to replace the starter in a 1996 Chevy Corsica 4 cly.?

very easy its located right in front, down towards the ground near the oil pan between the radiator and engine. two bolts and two wires hold it in . first you must disconnect the battery.

1996 chevy corsica 2.2 liter engine. Coolant temp never reaches above one-quarter hot, therefore no heat. I've put in four thermostats, installed new radiator, disconnected the cooling fan, still no heat....

You may have a stopped-up heater core. It's a little radiator inside your dash; it's where the heat comes from. I don't understand why the temp gauge isn't reading any higher than that...

96 CHEVY RADIATOR FAN

the temp sensor is probably stuck in the open or hot position the fan temp sensor probably needs to be replaced. It could also be that you have a short in the wiring harness......most sensors like this complete the ground circut so if the wire is touching a ground some where the fan will think the sensor is telling it to run. check the wiring harness first itll be the cheapest to repair. these sensors are generally somewhere on the intake manifold.
