Janome MC 3000 shank height

The Janome Memory Craft 3000 uses a low shank snap-on presser foot with a presser foot holder for most of its standard presser feet. See page 17 (page 19 of the PDF) of the User Manual available from Janome on the retired machine support page: https://www.janome.com/support/retired-machine-manuals/ . The current link to the manual is https://www.janome.com/siteassets/support/manuals/retired/computer/inst-book-mc3000.pdf . For specific presser feet that originally came with the machine, see page 3 of the manual (page 5 of the PDF). You can get presser feet that are known to be compatible at most sewing machine supply vendors, including https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/janome-memory-craft-3000-sewing-machine-parts.aspx?filter.ptype_gmcfeed_1=%20Presser%20Feet&index=39 or https://www.sewingmachinesplus.com/janome-mc3000-parts-accessories.php . A few presser feet have their own shank and require you to take off the holder.

I hope this helps.

Which model old style cam type buttonhole attachment from Singer will fit on the Bernina 807 minimatic machine that is an equivalent to the singer featherweight that I can make keyhole buttonholes.

In my earlier response, you need a shank that is made for your Bernina 807 and Berninas made in that era. Only "Old Style" Bernina presser feet and adapters will fit your machine. No other brand will work, not Singer, not Janome, not Brother, nothing but Bernina Old Style. There are several Bernina old style presser feet. Look for presser feet with the number printed in black ink or presser feet that have the number stamped into the metal. Do not buy a Bernina presser foot with red numbers--will fit only newer Bernina machines.

If you want to use the Singer buttonholer attachment, it needs to be for a straight shank machine. You will need to have a Bernina shank adapter for your machine.
Bernina Presser Feet (down at the bottom of the page, click on the blue text that says "Bernina Shank Adapter" On the next page, scroll down to the last two items that indicate they are "Old Style." The first Old Style item is the shank adapter you would need to attach the Singer buttonholer attachment to your machine. (Am assuming it will work, no guarantees!) If it doesn't work, then you will probably not be able to use the Singer buttonholer with your Bernina machine.
This shank adapter would fit your machine:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Adapter-Low-Shank-Feet-Foot-Bernina-500-1630-Old-Style-/380397208368

If you are looking for a snap-on adapter, it needs to state that it will work with a Bernina Old Style machine, ie the old Record machines (930 Record, 830 Record, 730 Record, 707, 807 Mini, 630 Record, and 530 Record--or in other words, Berninas manufactured prior to probably 1996).

Bernina Presser Feet (down at the bottom of the page, click on the blue text that says "Bernina Shank Adapter" On the next page, scroll down to the last two items that indicate they are "Old Style." If you are looking for the snap-on, go to the very last item on the page (Old Style). This will fit your machine. Remember, if it says Old Style, it should work on your machine.

This snap-on shank will fit your machine:
Presser Foot SNAP ON SHANK Adapter Bernina Old Style 530 532 1630...

This presser foot will fit your machine:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/BERNINA-ORIGINAL-20-SATIN-DECORATIVE-STITCH-FOOT-OLD-STYLE-830-1530-930-etc-/132055492681

This is an entire kit of snap-on feet with shank (included) that will work on your machine:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/20-Feet-Set-for-Bernina-Sewing-Machine-Old-Style-530-1630-Models-/381790565625

Here is a kit of snap-on feet with shank (included) as well as the buttonhole attachment you were asking about:

Although, I believe you will be able to make only straight buttonholes with this buttonhole attachment.

Hope this helps.

I need instuctions on using different presser foot for ja nome schoolmate

Please add a comment with the specific model of Janome Schoolmate sewing machine.

Fpr the Janome Schoolmate S-3015, make sure that the needle is fully up and raise the presser foot. Then press the red button on the back of the presser foot holder to have that foot drop off. Set the pressure dial to 3 before attaching the new presser foot. For snap-on feet, align the pin of the presser foot (the horizontal bar in the middle of the foot) under the presser foot holder. Lower the presser foot holder (using the presser foot height lever) until it locks onto the foot.

For the zipper foot, you need to fit the rear pin on the foot into groove at the back of the presser foot holder. Then lower the presser foot holder onto the zipper foot.

These are shown on page 11 (14 of the PDF) of the manual. You can download the manual here: http://janome.com/en/machines/sewing/schoolmate-s-3015/ . The direct link to the manual is http://janome.com/siteassets/support/manuals/school-models/schoolmate3015.pdf .

For the S-7330, you need to again raise the needle and the presser foot. Press the lever towards (it moves slightly up, not down) the presser foot holder. Then line up the pin on the foot under the presser foot holder and lower the presser foot holder onto the foot so that it locks. This is also in that sewing machine's manual, here: http://janome.com/siteassets/support/manuals/school-models/inst-book-s-7330esf.pdf . See page 14 (18 of the PDF).

I hope this helps.

How can I find accessories for an old machine?

Sewing shops are loaded with this stuff. You can order online too. You'll need the make & model number. Do a little research, I think Kenmores are simply repackaged Singers.

Pressure foot won't stay up

The presser foot lift lever on many newer janome sewing machines will wear out with use. It can easily be replaced by a sewing machine repair shop or Janome dealer. Or you can look online for a "presser foot lifter" or "presser foot lift lever" making sure to find the correct one for your machine.

Presser foot will not stay atached

If you have snap on presser feet sometimes they can wear very quickly on the snap on part or the gap at the snap on part is too wide due to either wear or manufacture, replacement is the only answer
