SOURCE: P4M80-M4 not powering up

was that really all it was ? i have the same problem you had... computer not booting with this motherboard. I have tried everything !!! remove battery to clear CMOS use the jumper to clear the cmos change the keyboard, change the PSU, boot without RAM, change the RAM, put everything on a wood table (all outside of the case). Tried with all drives connected on the mobo, tried with no drives. I even changed the CPU but the other CPU i used, i wasn't sure if it was still OK tough. I checked to see if some connections were broken or something ... i'm about to try to find the 1-800 number of biostar, or send the mobo for a refund. What else could i try ?

SOURCE: Only the cpu fan spins

I have the same problem, the CPU fan spins, keyboard lights blink, no start up screen, or bios.
If I push a few times on the pc reset button, then the CPU fan is becoming still, the keyboard lights are out and (wonder!) I can start the computer again in a normal way.
Can this one be a temporally solution for you too?
I guess that can be electricity dysfunction of a wrong fixed cable.

Ok i have a Biostar P4M80-M4 Motherboard and i can not get it to sense any graphic card i own pci or agp. i have been told that i must disable the onboard graphics first and it wont work, i have tried...

Disconnect the hard disk and reboot - wait for its absence to be detected then shut down the pc , reboot and go into the BIOS and make sure the AGP is enabled. Shut down the pc again, insert the new video card, connect the monitor to it then start the pc and go into the BIOS - now you should be able to disable the onboard one.
Connect the hard disk and you're good to go.

What kind Audio device should I install sir?

You need to install the motherboard's chipset drivers as well.
If you don't have the CD, then go to biostar's website to download.
