Onenote won't open

Hi, try to browse to the c:\programfiles\microsoft office\office 12\ onenote.exe> right click> run as admin
or
Browse to the c:\programfiles(86)\microsoft office\office 12\ onenote.exe> right click> run as admin.

Also you can reinstall One Note. And even this doesn't help try Recovery Toolbox for OneNote : http://www.onenote.recoverytoolbox.com/ It's not free but works well. Once I recovered the word file with the similar application.

The software maybe running and preventing you from uninstalling.
Try boot up in Safe Mode (press F8 when the computer boots up) then go to Add/remove program to uninstall the program.

go to programs & see if the inbox show up there & see if there is
a uninstall option available if not try the next option
go to the control panel
look for add & remove programs & see if it's there & click remove
see if that will work for you

It must be onenote file corruption. In that situation you may repair onenote file owing to programmed way.

Uninstalling depends on several things.
If you used "Add & Remove Programs" to install (some programs automaticly register with "Add & Remove Programs") you can just go to "Add & Remove Programs" and choose "Remove Program"

The first thing make sure your antivirus software has exception for Firewall Program Exceptions for allow access ..for the follwoing programs like "Printer Communication system" or "Lexbec server" or "Print Spooler" etc..If you dont know to check exceptions or create on try disabling the firewall and check..if your antivirus is expired uninstall it completely first..

Reinstall the Printer driver in the following Method..
Disconnect the Printer
1.Click>Start>Control Panel>Printers and Faxes and delete the The Printer that you are reinstalling the driver for delete all if there are more than 1 printer of the same.

3.Restart the computer

7.You will have the following folder open rename the W32X86 folder to W32X86.OLD

9.Insert the Lexmark CD and start installing the software Note : Connect the Printer only when the installation is prompted to connect..

This should defnitely take care of your problem..
Note if you are using vista try this first
Start type msconfig open that go to tools tab and disable UAC and restart and check..

depends on the version of Office. i think in 2007 version it only comes with Office Ultimate Edition & home & student. Trial download available at
