Is your 802.11gb compatible with win 7 64bit.If not it won't work.A wireless card also needs a MAC NUMBER,obtainable from the manufacturer or your server.

Remove the card and install again making sure it goes all the way in..( and/or installing on another slot.. Make sure theres no hair or dust goes in the slot..
If problem persist,
1. You probably need to access bios n configure/enable the pci ports..
2. The power supply is insufficient.

You need to connect to the manufacturer's web site and find the exact pci card model and download the software. You can download to a flash drive or CD and then run the program on the other computer BEFORE you plug in the hardware. Then install the pci card and follow the setup instructions.
