When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect itagain, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your carradio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. Ifyou do not have this code you need to go to your Chrysler servicecentre and get them to enter this code for you.

I have an 2012 chrysler 200. i recently had to replace the radio. it was purchased off of ebay. i have thevehicles registration and radios serial number how do i retreive the security code

The code is unique to each radio. You will need to show proof of purchase and the radio serial number to a Chrysler dealer to get the unlock code for the radio you purchased.
