Light won't turn off phone flashing

How To fix any Android Phone Tablet that won turn on

if you are getting a response but no light the back light is out, shorted, etc. but tablets are a little tricky to self fix so bring it in.

You need to find your manual to the phone in case you need to reset the phone.
When flashing Base like that, it has lost connection to the base charging station. It can be the power to the base unit or the phone cable that is faulty.
In any case the phone cannot connect to the base unit, so my advice would be to check the base unit (normally also the charging station), and make sure that all cables are connected and it is turned on.
It sounds like a bit of a dummy advice, but in my 17 years of experience, it is nearly always a cable problem when described like yours. It can be something as simple as someone unplugged the unit to vacuum or something like that and forgot to plug it back in.

If that isn't the case, then see the first line I wrote. Then you might need to reset the phone. The few wireless phones I've had, it would include either letting it run out of power or removing the battery and then a combination of buttons you had to press. But that would be mentioned in the manual.

There is a possibility that your front panel board has lodged inside some dirt , sweat or water which is causing this erratic operation. it ieasy to open out the front panel and use a good swab dipped in volatile spirit to clean off all the dirt in the panel . check if there is any corrosion in the front panel. remove and tighten the front panel and reset . if this solves the issue you are saved from a costly repair. Try out. Good day.

Did you recently replace you old phones with these phones? Maybe the old handset of the phones are interfering with them...remove batteries from old handsets, as they may be searching.

From the way it sounds, mine started doing this yesterday. Everytime i turn on the phone, theres just a backlight and nothing else. well the only way i noticed to get it to work, atleast until i can get a new phone is, to leave it slid up because it wont do anything if its closed or slid sideways. And while it slid up, I either have to call it from my home phone or recieve a text message. I'm not sure why but that made the screen come on so I could atleast check everything. It doesnt always work but it does most of the time. I hope this helps. Just play with and figure out what it takes to get your screen on. I'm not sure how to permanently fix it though.

Have you checked your settings? Maybe you accidentally, or unknowingly turned off the lighting.

This is an old post but in case anybody searches and finds it...The infamous "car kit" mode on LG phones is a problem I had. Your service provider will claim the phone got wet (they will look at indicators in the battery compartment and on the battery itself that turn blue in the presence of moisture. Trouble is, they will eventually turn blue just from humidity even if the phone wasn't given a bath). Search the web; there are one or two forum threads with many suggested solutions (such as resetting error codes in the service menu, scrubbing out the battery connector with a toothbrush, plugging/unplugging the actual car kit connector, etc.). None of these suggestions gave a permanent fix (YMMV) for me and I eventually bought a new phone.

There should be a setting to turn the back light off within the relevant profiles page, in the settings list.

I will check and see if there is another way so please do get back to me to let me know if it works.

Silly question as I am sure you have tried but try turning the Flash on permanently in the settings of the camera. Let me know if it works.
