turn on laptop press and release continually F8 key if a screen comes up select Launch Startup Repair choose any option you think may work

1) UNPLUG THE LAPTOP
2) REMOVE THE BATTERY
3) HOLD DOWN THE POWER BUTTON FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS TO 2 MINUTES
4) THEN PUT THE BATTERY BACK IN
5) START IT UP..

the charging port in the laptop is either loose or has a bad soilder on it.

Have you updated the video driver in the laptop, there have been cases where the screen gives a variety of symptoms because the driver was outdated, if that fails! as crazy as this sounds do a fresh install of your operational system. I serviced a laptop with a flickering screen, I reloaded windows and got rid of the problem.

shut down the laptop and start it again...immediately start hitting f8 key..select option ....safe mode....
if it works go to start .accessories and system tools and restore the system to previous date where in it was working fine..
it should be able to work perfect then

re seat the memory cards, clean the metal connector with pencil eraser if necessary. If it won't work it might happen that the mem card defect

try setting the frequency down to 60hz and the resolution before you connect. then if it works you can set it up again with a setting the TV likes

try to start in safemode.......reply if it works in safe mode
