This is caused because its not in the value...its either in the shower head seal or pipe or the tub spout...you have to turn it on and some how watch and see where it is coming from....sometimes you can pull back escushion from shower arm and look with flashlight when it is running and if you see leak where arm is screwed into pipe...unscrew and reseal with teflon tape and tighten...if not you will have to cut wall behind system and watch for area of leak...good luck

In order to remove the Danze handle from this particular model grasp the handle of the valve and then the body of the valve and turn the body counter clockwise in order to remove.
Hope this helps.
If you don't have a supply house near you that carries parts for the Danze products you can go to danze.com and order them there.

Replace valve canister- no construction- just remove after taking time to shut off water- a few screws and the job takes 15 minutes. I take for granted you have good water hot/cold to the fixture. This fix will cure most temperature balance problems.
The single lever system is a EZ care system. Note the canister can malfunction faster when exposed to untreated hard water.

While in my basement, I recently noticed a leak behind the shower wall, strangely the leak only happens when the water is running and the turn key is in the shower position. Any ideas as to what the problem might be?
