Water filter won't release

Change the fuel filter, End mass air flow sensor,End allso plugs and wires , Is it a Automatic transmission in it or a (Manual) Transmission.? All so how many miles are on it? It look like buy the details that your given,The car was never (Maintained) To well.That why therte is all the (Problems) With it.

We had the same issue. My husband unscrewed the filter cover (1 screw on the left side of the filter under the light flap). Then he pushed the old filter in & lifted it up and it came right out.

Go to hood and push down on it and try release lever,if still doesn't open,then go back to hood and release lever at hood and try to raise or push down to lock.

Had the same problem with our Bosch, cap would not even turn!
Suggestions-
pour anticalc/limescale fluid into any gap there is around the cap. Empty the machine and you can switch it off providing the door is open! Then pour the contents of at least 2 sachets of proprietary anticalc powder/liquid into the drum direct together with a kettle full of boiling water. Leave overnight at the very least. The following day run just a spin cycle as then there will be no water diluting the mix. This mix will go through the filter and motor and is likely to help release the filter/cap. If you feel like it, do the overnight again. If nothing else it will ensure that the heater element is clean!
I had to spend a couple of hours gently turning the cap back and forth until it finally released its hold- but the filter did not remain attached to the cap by its rubber ring. More patience, anticalc fluid and all was revealed!
I now run an anticalc clean regularly............which reminds me..............!

While someone is pulling the thing inside the cars have someone outside the push down in the center front (where the latch is underneath) down. You may have to kind of push and release quickly. If the cable is still attached there it should release.

Have someone push down on the hood & shake it,
while you try the hood release

If it opens, don't close it until you clean & lube things

Push button? It should be a turn to the left to remove if it is a whirpool located at the bottom. These are twist out not push to release. The only push to releases are made by electrolux.

my bissell 9200 won't release water or solution when the trigger is pulled.

On the left side of the water filter there is a button that releases the filter. Push in on the button then push in on the filter and pull it out. Remove the end cap on the filter and place it on the new filter. To install just push it in. Good luck and I hope this FIXYA
