Cannot tune in logik 15'' tv, integrated cd. flat panel
Have tried on the side panel by pressing menu and auto tune, it reads mostly no sync, or sometimes picks up sound and black lines but nothing else. I have two other tv,s which work fine! It's a flat panel format standard 4.3 but has no remote or instruction manual as these were lost by previous owner, puchased on ebay.

First make sure that the TV is set to the TV source (DTV or TV), depending on if you are looking for digital signals or analog. The top-most button on the right-hand side of the TV (as you face the TV) will let you navigate through the source list. The equivalent button on the original remote is to the upper right of the arrow keys. Press OK on the remote to switch inputs. Note: the Volume + does the same thing. The Channel +/- buttons on the TV let you navigate to a menu item. Make sure that the aerial antenna connection is secure. (Note: TV antennas with amplifiers can have the amplifier fail. Try a direct connection to the antenna without the amplifier, if no channels are found.)
Now, press the TV Menu button (on the remote, it's on the left side above the arrow keys). Alternatively, press the Menu button (the second button from the top on the TV). Use the left/right buttons (Channel buttons on the TV) to go to the Channel menu item. Press the Down button (volume down) to enter the setup section. Select Auto-Tuning and press the down arrow. Press OK or right arrow to start searching for channels. (If you only want to look for digital or analog stations, use those setting options instead of Auto-Tuning.) Wait for the search for available stations to populate. Press Exit or press the Menu button repeatedly to exit the menu system.
get the on screen menu up ( press menu on the remote) move around until you find auto tune , move sideways and it starts auto tuning
ti finds all radio and tv stations for you
when finished it may auto save or you will be required to press the ok button then exit
This also happened to me, but the problem is that your attena cable has accidentally dropped out of your TV. Slot it back in and then auto tune again. Hope that helps!
Most of the sony TV's comes with an auto tuning facility and all your need is ensure that the RF inout/cable TV or antennae is plugged into before the auto tuning is activated.
The auto tuning is available inthe older models on the set and in the newer models on the remote control. Choose program menu , tuning, auto mode.
Also you can search inthe manual mode individually and preset the channels position to your convenience such as news channels together, movies together etc.
You do not mention the make or model of your TV so it is difficult to give a precise answer. Mostly if you use the remote to bring up your main menu & go into the set-up sub-menu or installation menu then press for auto-tune.
The serial number does not offer any information, what we need to know is the make & model of your TV. Most flat panel TV's will auto tune. If you pull up your main menu & look for set-up or installation menu & then enter into this menu & you should find a sub-menu for auto tune.
Ensure you have a working aerial connected to the back of your TV.
With you Tv remote press the tv button, then MENU go down to setup and then to auto tune. Once this has auto tuned. then press your DTV (freeview) on the remote then press the MENU button then go to setup and then auto tune. This will do the same as before but with your built in freeview.
