I receive the flashing red jam light as soon as feed rollers start to feed paper into printer. All feed operation stops as soon as the feed fault is triggered. Paper never even starts into printer. I hhave owned this printer longer than the warranty period but have never used it for page printing. It was originally purchased for CD printing which is a pain at best. Own three other various brand printers and was going to use this on an incidental basis. As stated earlier, the paper never gets past the primary feed rollers therefore there is no jam and there is nothing jammed inside the printer from a past problem. The paper feed button will feed a page thru maybe one time out of 10 attempts, each of which has the same paper jam fault. If prudence says throw the thing in the trash, that is what I will do; however took a shot that you might have some magic idea that I haven't tried.

I'm having the same problem with my Epson Stylus Photo R220. We've had it for about three years and, although it goes through ink faster than I'd like, it has been working fine up until now. All of a sudden it will not grab the paper, even though it sounds as though it is trying to. The message I get is "Paper out or not loaded correctly." I sure would like to solve this.
