Unless Dell has the upgrade for the bios to include the larger hardware you are going to be in trouble, I would go online to Dell and check for upgrades to your model if they still support it. The other option is contact customer and technical support to see it they can give you a alternative solution.
Officially it is not compatible, but I've heard it can work.
However, if you still decide to try, I must warn you: You'll encounter countless problems with the drivers, which some of you'll have to download manually from the internet. Otherwise some of the features won't work, f.ex the Wi-Fi.
It would be better to leave it be or consider linux.
The memory bay is a part of the motherboard. Try each stick in each bay to make sure that the problem is the motherboard itself. Sometimes memory is incompatible with a particular laptop. Sometimes there is a maximum allowable memory. The maximum for your PC is 2 GB.
go to control panel, classic view, bluetooth. self explanitary from there, unless ur dell is like mine and doesnt have the hardware installed!! so youve just got a light that wont do anything
One of the DIMMS might be incompatible or faulry.
Put one DIMM in at a time to determine which is not working.
If they both work separately then it appears they are incompatible together. Try to get the DIMMs from the same manufacturer, with the same specs.
Pentium M 2.0 ghz if you update the bios. You would need Dell 600 Bios & that should be available on the Dell website under the support section. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.
