My Canon ZR700 camcorder won't play any tapes. It intermittently gives me the red eject arrow or the red condensation warning. At first it wouldn't accept tapes, once the initial one was ejected, but after a day accepted the tape, but won't play or record. It has never been dropped, but a 3/16" rubber coated sleeve/washer type part came out of the camera. Does anyone know what the problem is, and can I take it apart to fix it? Thanks

it could have been forced at some time and has bent the loading door,,, maybe a bit of cassette broke off inside it and is jamming it up best bet is to drop it off at the repair shop let them fix it for you,,

Hi, You usually get an EJECT TAPE when the camcorder has found an internal problem and either the videocassette or the camera itself has developed a problem. In you case, it looks like you tape has a problem. Daniel
