Mitsu DLP 65831 won't power up

This set was working fine till this am. My daughter turned it on an it didn't start. I went over and tried with the same results. Press the power button, light turns green, there is a faint clicking/popping noise, and a fan starts and stops, this goes on for a couple of min and then the set powers off. No message no picture, nothing. I unplugged for a few mins them tried again, same results. Last year I had a problem with a loose wire on a heat sensor by the bulb. This beamed to be a common problem and the fix was to reseat the connecter for the sensor. This time nothing... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mitsubishi WD-65831 65" DLP Rear Projection TV. Bulb burns out frequently.

Question edited for full 'make model (what it is)'.

Usually overheating or cheap bulbs made in China. $200 bulbs are better than $84 bulbs. Very old technology, time for an upgrade!

Battery is new, engine won't turn over.

The voltmeter should only go as high as 14-15 volts when the engine is running. I would check for a poor connection between the battery and starter.

My car was running fine yesterday and this morning it didn't start. got a new battery, replaced the oil and checked the fuses. everything is fine but car still won't start. suggestions, please

Check for spark and fuel. When you turn the key on you should hear the fuel pump in the tank for a few seconds till the pressure builds up. When you crank the engine there should be spark at the plugs.

I have a 65 inch mitsu DLP, replaced the bulb 6 months ago.. Worked fine until this week.. Now the TV will power up, turn on, then show a picture for a second then go black.. It repeats this nonstop.. ...

Sounds like the Lamp is over temperature. Either the fan went out or the filter is clogged! You might check the filter first. I hope this will help you...

I have a 61" samsung dlp. It worked fine

Start with replacing the lamp. Then move on to the Ballast. Then the color wheel. Then the Power Supply. One of those parts should fix it. If not call back.
