SOURCE: Can I replace the needle threader on a Pfaff 2056

It would be a two minute job for the Pfaff repair chap to do this....ring and check availability and ask for a quote, in our shop I would not charge to do this as you would be coming back for other goodies anyway, so it is just good business not to squeeze every last cent when word spreads of how reasonable and accommodation we were..
Phone and ask, save the stress.

How do I disable the bobbin thread low feature on my Pfaff Performance 2056? I am trying to make paper stencils. Thanks.

I have a 2056. I open the little door with the red light and closely watch my top thread for when it stops catching a bobbin thread until it is used up. I stitch more slowly but at least not annoyed and not wasting thread. Dawn Illinois

My screen on pfaff 2056 won't clear

Very possible a computer board has failed.

Pfaff 2056 display screen went dark. The machine will still sew straight stitch but can't change stitches.

Most likely a computer component that controls the screen has failed. May or may not be an expensive fix--check with your technician.

The presser foot lever keeps falling down when set in the up position on my Pfaff Performance 2056. How do I fix it?

The presser foot return spring needs to be replaced, it's a inexpensive repair.
This sounds like a job for a repair shop.

My pfaff 2056 is about 10 yrs old. One sewing store says it needs a new power supply board. Is it worth repairing?

I suggest checking to see how much a new pfaff costs and then see how much the part for your sewing machine cost and decide which price would be better for you...

I have a Pfaff 2024. Suddenly my readout screen goes away after about 10 minutes of use. Is this something I can fix myself?

Does that model have a Iittle wheel right under the screen? If so you may need to turn it to adjust the screen. If you can turn it and it does not stop any were it is broke and needs to be replaced. That repair should be around $30.00

If you dont have the needle your looking at a new baseplate/display board, Around $300.00

That is my guess with the info you have givin me.

Hope this helps
